Nanjing Lukou International Airport has been selected for the 24-hour direct transit exemption policy, effective November 5, enabling passengers with international connecting flights to bypass border checks while remaining within the airport’s transit area.

Starting November 5, travelers holding international connecting tickets within 24 hours can transfer through Nanjing Lukou Airport without undergoing border inspection, provided they remain in the airport’s restricted area. With 34 international routes (25 passenger, 9 cargo) spanning Europe, Oceania, and Asia, this initiative further enhances the airport’s efficiency and positions Nanjing as a globally competitive air hub.
