Recently, ESTUN Automation, a Nanjing-based enterprise celebrated for its innovation in industrial robots and smart manufacturing, has been named to the 2026 Fortune China Top 50 Tech Companies list. This accolade acknowledges the company’s long-term tech R&D and highlights the booming growth of Nanjing’s robotics sector.
Adhering to its development strategy of “ALL Made by ESTUN”, the company has maintained annual R&D investment accounting for over 10% of its operating revenue for consecutive years. It holds full independent intellectual property over core robot components such as controllers, OS and servo systems, with over 90% of key parts self-developed. Leveraging its full-industry-chain independent advantages, ESTUN’s industrial robot shipments outpaced foreign brands for the first time in 2025, ranking first in China’s market. It has also secured the top position among domestic brands in shipment volume for eight straight years.

ESTUN is also accelerating its global footprint. It has established 75 service outlets worldwide, covering major manufacturing regions across Europe, the Americas and Asia. It has set up subsidiaries and localized teams in multiple European countries to serve global manufacturing clients under its “Local for Global” framework.
In the fields of AI and embodied intelligence, ESTUN has signed a joint research agreement with the Institute of Industrial Artificial Intelligence, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The two parties will deepen collaborative R&D focusing on intelligent welding, cloud-edge-end coordination and other key technological directions.

ESTUN’s robust growth is rooted in Nanjing’s superior industrial ecosystem. The city has gathered nearly 200 robotics-related enterprises, forming a complete industrial system covering industrial, service and humanoid robots. Bolstered by supportive industrial policies, Nanjing’s core robotics industry revenue is expected to reach RMB 40 billion in 2025. The city is rapidly emerging as a thriving “Robotics Hub” in China.
