Amazon has officially opened a new office in Nanjing, situated within the China Yangtze River Delta (Nanjing) Cross-Border E-Commerce Industrial Park in Jianye district. The facility will provide localized services to businesses across the Nanjing metro area, covering store management, brand incubation, and AI-driven applications.
The opening marks Amazon’s third consecutive year of major activity in Jianye district. Since its first Nanjing office opened in 2020, Amazon has assisted nearly 4,000 companies from Nanjing and surrounding areas in expanding into global markets, spanning sectors including fashion and apparel, industrial machinery, and consumer electronics.

Among the beneficiaries is Sumec, whose US home brand Berkshire Home Company established a cross-border e-commerce division in 2023 and recorded overseas sales growth of over 153% in its first year. The brand maintained 26% growth in 2025 and has been included in Jiangsu Province’s key cross-border e-commerce brand development program. Wuhu Youfan and other metro-area enterprises have also reported sustained profit growth of 20 to 30% through the platform.
Nanjing’s combination of transport connectivity, talent supply, supply chain infrastructure, and policy support continues to position the city as a gateway for Chinese enterprises entering international markets.
