Within the park, electricity is self-sufficient, with new energy security robots patrolling, and rooftop photovoltaic systems achieving energy-saving and storage. These “smart and low-carbon” applications are gradually becoming a reality on the Singapore Nanjing Eco Hi-tech Island.

The zero-carbon park represents a new trend in future urban development and the direction of Nanjing’s green industry development. The park consists of eight research and office buildings, incorporating a range of zero-carbon technologies, including a Zero-Carbon Science and Technology Museum, zero-carbon buildings, green electricity axis, green transportation, carbon capture technology, waste sorting and treatment, rainwater recycling, green and wetland carbon sinks, a smart energy-carbon monitoring platform, and zero-carbon management systems.

These 10 zero-carbon technical systems and 20 zero-carbon measures comprehensively reduce building energy consumption and carbon emissions, achieving the goal of zero-carbon operation.
