Nanjing Launches First Direct All-Cargo Route to Mexico City—Strengthening Air Logistics Across the Pacific.

On May 5, the inaugural flight of the “Nanjing–Anchorage–Mexico City” all-cargo air route successfully departed from Nanjing Lukou International Airport. This marks Nanjing’s first direct cargo connection to Mexico City, expanding the city’s international freight footprint into Latin America.
Operated weekly with Boeing 747 aircraft, the route offers a 110-ton cargo capacity, linking East China with one of Latin America’s most influential logistics hubs.

As the largest aviation hub in Latin America, Mexico City provides access to a vast consumer market across the region. In a strategic move to enhance connectivity and efficiency, part of the existing capacity from the “Nanjing–Anchorage–Chicago” route has now been reallocated to support this new link to Mexico.
With this launch, Nanjing continues to strengthen its role as a key global logistics gateway, bridging Asia with the Americas through high-capacity, high-efficiency air freight solutions.
