Nanjing Port – Chancay Port New Shipping Route Officially Opens

On May 4, the “Ping An Cheng” departed Nanjing for Chancay, Peru, carrying 101 engineering vehicles and 21 energy storage units. This new direct route connects the Yangtze River Delta to South America’s west coast. Chancay Port, a flagship Belt and Road project between Peru and China, now serves as a key link for Asia–South America trade. The route shortens transit times and reduces logistics costs. Nanjing Port immigration used early inspection and one-stop clearance to minimize port time. Regular operations will support stronger trade and industrial collaboration between Nanjing and Peru.
