Nanjing has taken another step toward consolidating its position in China’s integrated circuit landscape with the launch of the East China Branch of CICITC in Gulou District.

The move comes as demand for chips and electronic components continues to surge, driven by rapid digitalization across manufacturing, energy, transportation, and communications.

The center will operate with a Nanjing-based, East China–oriented focus, providing supply-chain support and intelligent trading services for sectors including power equipment, automotive manufacturing, computing, and telecommunications.

By linking trading platforms with local innovation and production capabilities, Nanjing aims to accelerate industrial clustering and support the long-term upgrading of its electronic information sector.
