The 3rd Jiangsu Development Summit “JinlingHometownTour”- Comprehensive Pilot Special Exchange Event for Further Opening up Nanjing’s Service Industry was held on the “Yangtze Legend” cruise along the Riverside line of Gulou District. 

It is reported that investment facilitation in Nanjing has improved significantly, and opportunities in business, cultural and tourism consumption, cross-border financial services, health and medical innovation, and digital transformation of manufacturing industries have emerged. 

As the only city of Jiangsu to launch comprehensive pilot programs for opening up in the service sector, Nanjing focuses on exploring science and technology innovation, integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries, industrial characteristics, platform demonstration, and promoting the pilot programs in six key application scenarios including high-end services, cultural and tourism services, modern finance, modern healthcare, integration of advanced service and modern manufacturing industries, and talent services.

A series of favorable policies made the guests very optimistic about Nanjing. Hu Bei,  Vice President of Linde Greater China, believed that the expansion of the service industry would empower the transformation and upgradation of the manufacturing industry. Xia Zhijie, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and Director of the Jiangsu Provincial High-end CNC Machine Tool and Complete Equipment Innovation Center, considered that the integration of the service industry and the manufacturing industry would give new vitality to Nanjing’s industrial transformation and development.
